Subhra – A handwoven Mangalgiri Cotton saree, with woven zari border and zari stripes in pallu. Embroidery by hand has been done on it by the rural women of Bengal using Herringbone Stitches and short Running Stitches. Colours used for embroidery- Rust Orange, Yellow and Maroon against the white back ground. The saree has been further embellished by mirror work on the body and pallu.
