Golden Kalkha – A handwoven Maheshwari in Silk by Cotton with woven zari border and zari stripes in pallu, that has been sourced from the loom of the weaver I work with in Maheshwar. A traditional look to the saree has been imparted, by embroidering the paisleys ( aam kalkha) all over the saree using golden zari and black thread, giving it a meenakari effect. The saree is gorgeous, the pure Maheshwari imparts the elegance to it and the comfort and smoothness of texture. The Zari Kalkhas embroidered give the saree its natural sophistication .
