Subhra – a Hand woven Mulcotton saree , white in colour with ‘ self coloured ‘ floral blocks printed by hand on the body . Small mirrors have been hand embroidered on the body using black and golden yellow threads. The Pallu and the border has been hand block printed using two separate wooden blocks in golden yellow and charcoal black. The wooden blocks have been carved intricately by hand . At Wearableart by Dola, we work with artisans who are custodians of age old dyeing and printing techniques . Our efforts are to bring to you the story of our rich crafts legacy.
