Ajrakh is a unique form of textile hand hblock printing. In India, it is mainly done in Ajrakhpur a small village in the bordering Kutch district. This particular Ajrakh stole is on Modal silk, with its quintessential prints in geometrical pattern, using organic dyes like indigo, madder and black derived from soaking iron filings in jaggery.
