Abir – The charm of Chanderi sarees is celebrated amongst the handloom connoisseurs all over. Chanderi,the cluster for such fine sarees is in Madhya Pradesh, India. ‘Abir’ is one such fine Cotton by Silk handwoven Chanderi saree, with woven zari motifs on body and meenakari floral motifs on pallu. Its gorgeous zari woven border with contrasting red selvedge,imparts the regal touch to the saree. At Wearableart by Dola, we work with artisans in Chanderi, who are the custodians of this age old weave and we love to bring forth the stories of our ancient weaving legacy.
