‘Tarulata’ – Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. A fine needle Jamdani saree , a supplementary weft technique of weaving, where the artistic motifs are produced by a non-structural weft, in addition to the standard weft that holds the warp threads together. Woven by hand in a cluster in Bengal by a skilled weaver. The colourful palm trees, woven on the borderof the saree, gives it the apt name of ‘ Tarulata’.
